  • An Insulated Metal Panel Superintendent will oversee everyday workings of an IMP crew of various sizes from 4 to 20 some people depending on scope of jobs. They will be responsible for assuring quality of work and maintaining schedules and daily productivity across all aspects of the IMP construction process.

    Job Duties

    · Supervise all aspects of the IMP installation process daily.

    · Assure that safety and quality of work are top priorities with crews.

    · Manage crews to be productive and on schedule.

    · Maintain daily paperwork such as safety inspections, tool box talks, daily reports, and personnel sign-in sheets using electronic devices.

    · Attend project meetings with general contractors, customers, and project managers as needed.

    · Provide crew support and training as needed to assure quality of work.

    Qualifications

    · Multiple years of experience installing and supervising IMP construction.

    · Ability to read and understand prints and details in order to layout jobs correctly and assure everything is being done according to details.

    · Good people skills and a leadership mentality, able to evaluate talent, and delegate duties as well as build strong working teams.

    · Quality first mentality as we stand behind our work and expect the superintendent to be of the same mind set.

    · OSHA 30, First Aid/ CPR training and various other equipment operator certifications. (Training provided as required.)

  • A mechanic will report to the IMP superintendent or team lead on each project. They will be a part of a crew ranging from 3 to 6 people working to accomplish various parts of the IMP installation process.

    Job Duties

    · Installation of IMP of various sizes, and in various conditions from building exteriors to inside cooler and freezer buildouts.

    · Follow instructions and details provided by the superintendent to ensure quality of work.

    · Install finish work such as flashing and caulking as well as doors and windows that will be high visibility work and must look good.

    Qualifications

    · Prior experience installing IMP.

    · Ability to do finish work that meets company standards. (E.g. flashing and caulking.)

    · Prior experience with installing doors is a plus.

    · Basic understanding of prints and details is helpful.

    · Various equipment certifications will be required as well as first Aid and CPR. (Training provided as required.)

  • A Pipe Insulation Superintendent/ Team Leader will be in charge of jobs installing various insulation systems. They will ensure the quality install of all insulation and jacketing as well as setting and meeting production goals and schedules.

    Job Duties

    · Supervise all aspects of insulation projects.

    · Plan manpower as needed to maintain schedules.

    · Assure the quality of all work that is being done.

    · Assure specifications are being followed for each project.

    · Material needs and takeoffs as needed.

    · Maintain daily paperwork such as safety inspections, tool box talks, daily reports, and personnel sign in sheets using electronic devices.

    · Attend project meetings with general contractors, customers, and project managers as needed.

    · Training for helpers and Jr. Mechanics to improve crew strengths.

    Qualifications

    · Multiple years of experience installing and supervising insulation jobs.

    · Advanced skills in the insulation trade. Ability to lay out and fabricate complicated valves, tees, head gores, pump boxes and soft pads.

    · Leadership skills, recognize talent and foster growth through training and mentoring.

    · Various equipment certifications as well as First Aid CPR training. (Training provided as required.)

  • A Pipe Insulation Mechanic will be responsible for installing various types of pipe, tank, and ductwork insulation with jacketing on varied systems. These systems range from cold refrigeration piping to hot steam systems.

    Job Duties

    · Ability to do a quality job installing various types of pipe insulation and jacketing.

    · An understanding of the different specifications used for the various types of piping systems as well as different insulation systems, hot or cold.

    · Work with various insulation materials such as fiberglass, styrofoam, isourathane, calcium cilicate, armaflex, duct board, and wraps of various types. They should also have experience with jacketing, including but not limited to aluminum and PVC.

    · Perform specialty insulation work including but not limited to removable soft pads and pump boxes.

    Qualifications

    · Multiple years of experience with all types of insulation and Jacket installation.

    · Must be able to layout, fabricate, and install complicated patterns such as tee’s, laterals, head gores, and 90 covers.

    · Must be able to use a metal break to fabricate jacketing for ductwork and pump boxes.

    · Must be able to fabricate removable pads using various fastening systems.

    · Various equipment certifications will be required as well as first Aid and CPR. (Training provided as required.)

  • A Project Manager will be responsible to manage the entire insulated metal panel and/or pipe insulation project, acting as primary contact with the customer and field team.

    Job Description

    · Develop and maintain positive relationships with the customer

    · Provide technical information to field team as required, ensuring work performed onsite meets design and quality standards

    · Carry responsibility for the redemption of equipment, material and subcontractor estimates and secondary responsibility for labor and other costs

    · Holds purchasing responsibility for the all of non-commodity and commodity items, as well as the release and delivery schedule

    · Interpretation of project specification and decision making for choices relating to equipment and materials

    · Development of the initial schedule for work on the project

    · Manage, develop, and submit RFI's, O&M manuals and other project documents.

    · Submittal and closeout documents

    · Negotiation and pricing of all change orders documents

    · Interface with Detailing Department, including, but not limited to, providing required detailing information, working to resolve conflicts, and discussion of ideas to increase project profitability

    · Planning and coordinating with Construction Manager on requirements of the projects as they relate to scheduling, sequence, production and quality

    · Monthly invoicing of projects per customer’s contract
