  • Scott Morlino is the President and Co-Founder of Southern Thermal Solutions, Inc. He was born into the construction business and worked for his father during the summers as a child.

He loves to build stuff. Whether it is a multi-million dollar cold storage project or a chicken coup at his farm, he spends most weekends working on a project or dreaming one up.

Scott was inspired to found STS for a number of reasons:

    1) Simply, his love for building stuff.

    2) He has a deep respect for the craftsmen and wanted to build a company that encompasses that respect.

    3) He loves a challenge and wanted to build a business.

Scott says, “I have a really great team and appreciate everything they contribute on a daily basis. STS would not be where it is today without our people, and words cannot express my appreciation for their dedication.

I have been fortunate to have many great mentors along the way in the construction business who have shared their wisdom with me over the years. I am an avid consumer of information and here are 5 books that helped me get to where I am today:

    Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell
Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink & Lief Babbin
The Entrepreneurs by Equation Carol Roth
Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins
Why Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek”
